We flew from LA to Denver to Montrose since we flew with Southwest Airlines, there wasn’t a direct flight. The flight from LA to Denver was around 2 hours and the flight to Montrose was about quick 35 minutes. From Montrose, it was an easy drive to Telluride-family travel

☀️ Mostly sunny days with calm, glassy waters (hello, dreamy overwater villa views)
⛅ A few clouds in the afternoons
🌧️ Light rain showers, often overnight or early morning—gone as quickly as they came

So don’t stress if you see “rain” in the forecast. In paradise, it usually means a passing sprinkle and an even more beautiful sunset. 🌅✨

We were met with calm, clear waters, tropical vibes, and just enough rain to keep things cozy. So if you`re stressing about the forecast—don’t. The Maldives has a way of being magical no matter what.

and then—BOOM. Another kid skis right into her…
and somehow blames HER for “taking up the whole lane.” 😵‍💫⛷️

She’s totally fine but this is one of those moments where I`m reminded: you can prep your kids all you want… but there’s no controlling the wild cards on the mountain.
