Best Places for Dessert in Whistler Village
I am always happy when I find a good crepe. Hot Buns Bakery in Whistler Village delivered a crave worthy Nutella Strawberry Crepe.
Beavertails was our favorite place for dessert! We loved the deep-fried Canadian pastries available with different sweet and savory toppings, especially, the Bananarama (Chocolate hazelnut spread topped with banana slices). The whole-wheat pastries are addicting, you were warned, you may finish a whole pastry on your own before you know it. Be sure to visit Beavertails, it’s a perfect ending to a day on the slopes. Bonus points to Beavertails for also serving ice cream for those not wanting a pastry.
Cows Ice Cream
I booked reservations ahead of time and had a party of 7 and was able to book a tatami room. A tatami room was perfect for us since we had 3 children in our party. Tatami offers a Japanese dining experience where a low table is set on woven flooring and seating is on cushions at the table. Guests are to remove their shoes before stepping onto the tatami flooring—a fun and more intimate dining setting for any larger group.
Note: If you are looking for sweatshirts and shirts for souvenirs, Cows Ice Cream shop had really cute colors and merch designs at reasonable prices. I bought a sweatshirt for my daughter and haven’t washed it yet just because it still smells like the store—waffle cones and ice cream!
