With all the baby products, I liked to go with ones that would last me the longestβ€”not only in quality but also items that can grow with them.Β Β When choosing a baby carrier, I liked to go with the ones that went up to 3-4 years of age rather than some that go up to 12 or 15 months, this way you can hold onto the closeness of baby wearing longer.Β Β Structured baby carriers are great for walks, travel, running errands or just around the house.Β Β Great for everyday for a must have for any trip.Β Β

There’s so many great choices for baby carriers but I’ve narrowed it to two that I really enjoyed using.Β Β One from Ergobaby and one from Babybjorn.Β Β

The first carrier I liked was The BabyBjorn Baby Carrier One Air.Β Β It has four different carrying positions: newborn, facing in/out, and on your back.Β Β It’s so comfortable to wear and is so easy to use.Β Β It’s also so easily interchangeable to my husband with just a few quick, minor adjustments.Β

A standout from the BabyBjorn Baby Carrier One Air is its’ beautiful, elegant earthy tones.Β Β It uses airy 3D mesh fabric that provides so much comfort from the soft cotton blend, making it more bearable in warmer weather.Β Β The shoulder and bottom straps help with preventing too much pressure on your back and makes sure you have enough lumbar support.Β Β It’s also so lightweight and easy to pack for travel.Β Β It’s so easy to use, comfortable to wear, and feels secure.Β Β

PROS: Infant to 3 years, breathable cool material, lumbar support from its shoulder and waist straps, multiple carrying positions, machine washable, easy to pack, easily adjustable

CONS: No hood to offer more privacy and protection from the sun, no small storage compartments

The other very comparable option that I really liked was theΒ Ergobaby New Omni BreezeΒ baby carrier.Β Β To me, this is Ergobaby’s equivalent to the BabyBjorn Baby Carrier One Air.Β Β The Ergobaby New Omni Breeze, easily adapts to your baby from 7-45 lbs (approx. 0-4 years).Β Β It has various positions including front carry (facing parent), front carry (facing out), as well as hip and back carry.Β  Β

It features a breathable material of a soft and durable mesh fabric to help keep you and baby cool.Β Β The extra padded shoulder straps and support waist belt help the baby carrying process to be as comfortable as possible.Β Β It is very easy to use to make those quick needed adjustments from one parent or caretaker to another.Β Β

Compared to some of its sister carriers and competitors, this model of Ergobaby also doesn’t require a separate infant insert which I also liked.Β Β There is a side pocket for storage, a pouch and also has a tucked away UPF 50+ hood.Β Β The BabyBjorn Baby Carrier One Air didn’t have a hood on it so when it came to covering the baby during her naps, she was more exposed as opposed to having more privacy in the Ergobaby. PROS:Β Β Infant to 4 years, breathable cool material, lumbar support from its shoulder and waist straps, multiple carrying positions, easy to pack, machine washable, easily adjustable, UPF 50+ hood, side pocket storage, SoftFlex mesh for maximum breathability

CONS: Hard to think of one really!
